P O W E R

One of the key values of SACC is prayer. We give lots of time to 'plugging' into God so that we not only grow as a church but also to see God at work in our personal life, local community and the whole world.

This is a very small group and has taken a few different forms. In recent days this has been just praying through the newspaper, watching worship DVDs, working through prayer requests and through meditation.

Our plans for the future is to hold this event by the prayer wall in our coffee room. There will be more room for people to express their creativity. We feel that God calls us all to pray but sometimes we have personal styles or preferences that others may be uncomfortable with so by moving this time into a quieter room people can be assured of freedom and privacy.

Perseverance  - If we are to experience the owr of God through prayer we must persevere until we know the answer that God gives

Observation  - Rather than praying 'God bless what I am doing', be observant and start doing what God is blessing

Weakness - God's word says, 'God's power in made perfect in our weakness' acknowledge your weakness and expect his power to move in your life

Expectation - How often do you pray not expecting anything. Come before God expecting Him to move in your world and your life

Risk - Pray out of the box, take a risk, try painting, singing, shouting or even dancing before your God.
