Hour of Prayer

When our current church leaders were given the appointment to Bicester they spent time in prayer asking God to give them a vision and strategy to help the local church work towards growth both spiritually and numerically.

Their main concern was that we wouldn't become busy doing programme but that we would be strategic in our plans because of the focus of our prayers.

During this time of focus and waiting on the Lord God spoke to Kat and re-directed her thinking towards the birth of the Christian Church found in Acts 2. As she contemplated the dramatic growth God said 'follow their example and see me grow my church.'

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread
and to prayer...And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."
(Acts 2:42, 47)
