Life Groups

SACC has in recent days started the transition towards functioning as a cell church. This means that we prioritise relationship and discipleship within the small group context.

Based on this we have closed the traditional model of bible study and replaced it with our first 'life group'.

A life group gives us the opportunity to worship, pray, discuss, and build strong frienships. We do this by meeting in someone's house and following the four 'W's - Welcome - Worship - Word - Witness.

The aim of a lifegroup is to multiply, the same as cells in the body. We feel that within the less formal setting this is easier to achieve because we can invite people who are already our friends to such a group.

Life groups offer a relaxed setting where we can support and care for each other, give and receive life, and know a deeper reality of God transforming our lives.

Haggard wrote, 'Everything God has done in our lives is unproven until it is refined and demonstrated in the midst of relationships'. The purpose of the lifegroup is to develop as disciples and help us understand the lifestyle of being a follower of Jesus within the context of the 21st Century.

The vision is that all over the town of Bicester there would be Lifegroups within every estate which are growing and multiplying as God is meeting people in their homes and nieghbours. Sunday worship is more of a celebration about what God is doing in our everyday lives.

The current lifegroup runs on a Thursday @ 7:15pm. To join us or ask for more info people email info@bicestersa.org or cal 01869 322891
