John & Kat Mclean
(Lead Pastors)
John & Kat along with their children have been leading SACC since August 2008. They have served in ministry within The Salvation Army in diverse roles which include church planting, regional youth ministry and church leaders.
John and Kat both attended William Booth College in London where they studied for the ministry. John has since gained a MA in Mission and Evangelism and Kat is pursuing further study.
Kat says, 'for many the church seems irrelevant to their daily life, my passion is to show the love of Jesus to a lost world through offering
them support both spiritually as well as physically and emotionally.'
John is driven by a passion to see people meet their full potential in every area of their lives. This drives him to focus his energies on helping people connect with God and grow to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
Both John and Kat believe that the local church has a calling to connect and help bring about community transformation through God's love. They seek to do this by modelling authentic Christian living, building healthy friendships, and loving people as they are. They look forward to meeting you!
