Sunday Celebration

Sunday Mornings @ 11am is our family worship and celebration. We come together to celebrate who God is, what he has done, and more importantly to give ourselves to him in worship. We are very informal in style and you are given the freedom to worship in whatever way suits you.

Although we are a smaller community we are seeking to worship God with all we have got. We have asked ourselves 'what is worship?' and we believe that worship involves all of our lives and anything we think, say or do that gives glory to Jesus. It's not a matter of externals but a matter of the heart.

Our desire is to use whatever means to come into God's presence and therefore we tend to be more contemporary in style and recognise that for many the image of church is formal and stuffy. At SACC we like the experience of coming to worship as we are, and we keep our focus on Jesus.

So what can you expect to find on Sunday mornings...

We tend to have a group of worship songs, which is led by our church leaders. We use multimedia which adds to our worship and means that we can clap, raise our hands or do what ever we feel the Holy Spirit leading us to do in praise to our God.

We have a prayer time which takes different forms from video clips to silence, from drawing to discussion.

Our teaching is based on the Bible and has lots of application for our daily lives. Our weekly bulletin has a talk outline which can be followed with the powerpoint.

We are given plenty of time to consider what we have heard and can receive prayer and support in closing worship or over refreshments in the church cafe.

So why dont you come along and join us?
