Thriving in Babylon

Sometimes it is difficult to be a Christian in the world in which we live. We seem to come up against obstacle after obstacle when trying to show people the abundant life that Jesus gives.

Our world is not unlike the world in which, Daniel and his buddies tried to live out the values of Yahweh. As we become deeper immersed in the culture we recognise a people who do not seek to honour God and the challenge is how do we live out an uncompromising faith that impacts our world?

As we consider the book of Daniel we are going to remind ourselves of the fact that we can thrive in our modern day Babylon. We can be successful when society tells us to give up!
